The change comes as manager Torey Lovullo begins another two-year term. The status of the rest of his coaching staff remained unresolved in MLB.com’s report.

Arizona announced Kaplan’s hiring Nov. 12, 2024. He previously spent three seasons as Philadelphia’s assistant pitching coach and director of pitching.
