Aristides Vargas provided the decisive blow in the 10th inning, singling to left field to score Jose Abreu and lift the Arizona Diamondbacks to a 6-5 victory over the Oakland Athletics. The walk-off hit capped a dramatic contest at Chase Field that required extra innings to resolve.
