Queen Creek, Arizona — Gas prices in the East Valley area averaged $4.2950 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 21, 2026, according to AAA, up from $4.2800 yesterday. That is up from $3.8740 a week ago but higher than $4.1330 a month ago.
The statewide average in Arizona stands at $4.2890, while the national average is $4.0190. Drivers in the East Valley area are paying above the state average and above the national average.
The East Valley average remains below its AAA recorded high of $5.7000. Regular prices are about 16 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.3470, drivers are paying about 95 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the East Valley area averages $5.2550 per gallon, AAA reported.
