Queen Creek, Arizona — Gas prices in the East Valley area averaged $4.3070 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 22, 2026, according to AAA, up from $4.2950 yesterday. That is up from $4.0080 a week ago but higher than $4.1240 a month ago.
The statewide average in Arizona stands at $4.3020, while the national average is $4.0600. Drivers in the East Valley area are paying above the state average and above the national average.
The East Valley average remains below its AAA recorded high of $5.7000. Regular prices are about 18 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.3460, drivers are paying about 96 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the East Valley area averages $5.2620 per gallon, AAA reported.
