The statewide average in Arizona stands at $4.7057, while the national average is $4.4750. Drivers in the East Valley area are paying above the state average and above the national average.
The East Valley average remains below its AAA recorded high of $5.7000. Regular prices are about 29 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.9061, drivers are paying about 93 cents more per gallon.
