Businesses operating within the San Tan Valley area can now secure a free entry in the SanTanValley.com business directory. This change follows a partnership between the website and the San Tan Valley Alliance, which allows the site to offer basic listings at no charge. Previously, inclusion in the directory required a fee.

The directory has existed on SanTanValley.com since the site launched in 2009. The new free tier is designed to expand the number of local enterprises represented, ranging from home-based operations to established storefronts. Eligibility extends to businesses located inside the town boundaries as well as those in the unincorporated San Tan Valley area. San Tan Valley is about 7 miles southeast of Queen Creek.

Businesses located outside these specific boundaries, including those within the town limits of Queen Creek or Florence, are not currently eligible for the free listing, even if they provide services to San Tan Valley residents. The site notes that out-of-area businesses interested in broader promotion can contact the site directly.

To claim a listing, business owners must provide their name, physical address, phone number, operating hours, and business category. The process is estimated to take approximately two minutes. Listings submitted during this initial period will become active when the website launches its new design on August 1.

The San Tan Valley Alliance is a 501(c)(3) organization and a partner of SanTanValley.com. The site describes itself as a local resource for news, events, and business information for residents and visitors. The free listing initiative is part of an effort to increase the visibility of local commerce in the region.

Details regarding the long-term maintenance of these free listings or potential changes to eligibility criteria after the initial launch period were not provided.
