The Arizona Cardinals could be without key depth in the secondary for their upcoming NFC West game against the San Francisco 49ers. Cornerbacks Garrett Williams and Max Melton were both listed as limited participants in Arizona's latest practice report.

Melton returned to practice after sitting out Wednesday because of a toe problem. He was injured during Arizona's Sept. 20 game against the Seattle Seahawks. Williams continued to work on a limited basis as he recovers from the torn Achilles tendon that has kept him from making his season debut.

Safety Dadrion Taylor-Demerson also practiced in a limited capacity Thursday after missing the previous session with a back injury. The secondary recently lost cornerback Will Johnson, who was placed on injured reserve with a neck injury that could end his season.

Quarterback Jacoby Brissett remained on the report with a hip issue, but he completed a full practice for the second straight day. Other Cardinals listed were defensive lineman Roy Lopez, who did not practice because of a groin injury, and offensive lineman Hjalte Froholdt, who was limited with a knee issue.

San Francisco also had several players listed as unavailable or limited. Wide receivers Mike Evans and Demarcus Robinson did not practice Thursday, while receivers De’Zhaun Stribling, Ricky Pearsall and Christian Kirk are on injured reserve. The 49ers' report also listed Nick Bosa, Romello Height and James Thompson as nonparticipants, while Dre Greenlaw, Christian McCaffrey and Trent Williams completed full practices.

The report did not include final game-status designations. Arizona Sports published the injury update.
