The Arizona Cardinals announced a series of roster moves at the Dignity Health Arizona Cardinals Training Center in Tempe. The team placed offensive lineman Chase Bisontis on injured reserve. Reports suggest his season is likely over if he suffers a grade three tear requiring surgery, though this has not been definitively confirmed.

In addition to Bisontis, the Cardinals placed tight end Jameson Geers and linebacker Austin Keys on injured reserve. To fill the resulting gaps, the club signed three new players: tight end Baylor Cupp, defensive lineman Keveion'ta Spears, and running back Tre Stewart.

Cupp, who will wear jersey number 83, most recently played for the Dallas Renegades in the United Football League. He recorded eight receptions for 73 yards across nine games there. An undrafted rookie free agent from Texas Tech, Cupp entered the NFL with Kansas City in 2024 and spent time on their practice squad before joining the Baltimore Ravens during the 2025 preseason.

His college career included stops at Texas A&M and Texas Tech, where he totaled 23 receptions for 246 yards and four touchdowns.

Spears, wearing number 60, joins the team after a six-year collegiate career spanning Memphis, Louisiana Tech, and SMU. In his final season with SMU in 2025, he appeared in all 13 games, recording 15 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and four pass breakups. His previous college stats include 45 total tackles and two sacks across 49 career games.

Stewart, assigned jersey number 26, comes from the Orlando Storm of the UFL, where he rushed for 108 yards on 28 attempts and caught four passes. He originally entered the league as an undrafted rookie with Minnesota in 2025 after playing at Jacksonville State and Limestone University.

During his college career, Stewart accumulated 4,632 rushing yards and 47 touchdowns, along with 83 receptions for 833 yards.

The team indicated that Spears provides depth at the running back position, potentially covering for Corey Kiner or Jeremiyah Love during the preseason. The specific medical details regarding Bisontis, Geers, and Keys remain not yet clear beyond their placement on injured reserve.
