The Arizona Cardinals added starting center Hjalte Froholdt to their injury report Wednesday as the team prepared for its Week 3 game against the San Francisco 49ers. Froholdt was limited in practice because of a knee injury.
Arizona is coming off a loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2. It was not yet clear whether Froholdt would play against San Francisco.
The report also included Lopez, Melton and Taylor-Demerson. The source identified all three as players who have appeared on the injury report for multiple weeks, while noting that Melton and Taylor-Demerson are dealing with new ailments.
Cornerback Williams was described as nearing a return after a months-long process. Jacoby Brissett, who has a hip injury, practiced fully and appeared on track to start. Brissett is 33 years old.
