Khamari Anderson will not return for the rest of Arizona State’s season after suffering a leg injury in the Sun Devils’ 24-17 victory over Kansas on Saturday. Local insider John Gambadoro reported the update Sunday.
Anderson, a fourth-year tight end, transferred from Kentucky and had only recently returned from another lower-leg injury. He was hurt during spring camp in April and underwent a five-month recovery before playing in the regular-season opener on Sept. 5.
Arizona State is 2-1 after its win over the Jayhawks. The team is also dealing with a season-ending injury to linebacker Zyrus Fiaseu.
