Arizona has released its initial availability report ahead of the Big 12 season kickoff against BYU, with three players listed as out. The Wildcats will be without linebacker Everett Roussaw, defensive back Dajon Hinton and defensive tackle Ezra Funa for Saturday's game.
Linebacker Myron Robinson remains questionable for the matchup after suffering a knee injury in November. Meanwhile, running back Cornelius Warren III and defensive back Daylen Austin, who missed the previous contest against Northern Arizona, are active this week.
The status of linebacker Max Harris and running back Ismail Mahdi is currently undetermined. Both athletes were granted a temporary restraining order against the NCAA, allowing them to remain eligible for competition this season. A one-hour Order to Show Cause hearing regarding their eligibility is scheduled for Sept. 21 at the Pima County Superior Court.
The university issued a statement confirming awareness of the court ruling and noting that staff will continue working with the student-athletes regarding their eligibility status.
BYU has seven players listed as out for Saturday: safety Raider Damuni, cornerbacks Jonathan Kabeya and Kevin Doe, running backs Jovesa Damuni and Sione Moa, offensive lineman Brigham Alexander and tight end Jacob Nye. Linebacker Pierson Watson is doubtful, while star linebacker Isaiah Glasker is probable.
