Mike LaFleur plans to keep the Cardinals' coaching assignments intact as Arizona prepares to visit the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, Oct. 18.

The coach said Monday, Oct. 12, that he would not reassign play-calling duties or change coaching roles after the 45-21 loss to Detroit, according to the Cardinals' official website. That decision leaves defensive coordinator Nick Rallis in place following four consecutive games in which Arizona allowed more than 30 points.

Jacoby Brissett will also remain the starting quarterback. A separate decision concerns rookie Carson Beck: LaFleur said the staff would discuss Tuesday whether to make the third-round pick active against the Rams. Beck has been designated the emergency third quarterback on game days, behind Brissett and Gardner Minshew.

Arizona enters the matchup at 1-4. Kickoff at SoFi Stadium is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. Arizona time, with FOX carrying the game, according to the team's schedule. The Rams are 2-3 after Monday night's 37-34 overtime loss to Buffalo.
