Standout Performances
Aaron Nola anchored the Philadelphia Phillies’ pitching staff with a complete effort that kept the Arizona Diamondbacks in check for most of the contest. His performance secured his sixth win of the season, improving his record to 6-10.
Offensively, Bryson Stott provided the decisive blow for Philadelphia. He launched a solo home run to right field, measuring 464 feet, which gave the visiting team an early lead in the second inning. That single swing accounted for one of the two runs the Phillies would score in the game.
Game Progression

The Phillies’ bullpen maintained the one-run lead for the remainder of the night. Alex McFarlane pitched a perfect inning with a strikeout. Orion Kerkering and Jose Alvarado each tossed a scoreless frame, combining for two strikeouts and one walk. Brooks Raley closed out an inning with no hits or walks allowed.
