Queen Creek, Arizona — Gas prices in the East Valley area averaged $3.8790 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 2, 2026, according to AAA, down from $3.8920 yesterday. That is down from $4.0160 a week ago and lower than $4.6640 a month ago.
The statewide average in Arizona stands at $3.9710, while the national average is $3.8380. Drivers in the East Valley area are paying below the state average and above the national average.
The East Valley average remains below its recorded high of $5.7000, set on June 16, 2022. Regular prices are about 78 cents lower than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.4180, drivers are paying about 46 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the East Valley area averages $4.9010 per gallon, AAA reported.
