Queen Creek, Arizona — Gas prices in the East Valley area averaged $3.8600 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 5, 2026, according to AAA, up from $3.8590 yesterday. That is down from $3.9460 a week ago and lower than $4.5730 a month ago.

The statewide average in Arizona stands at $3.9390, while the national average is $3.8040. Drivers in the East Valley area are paying below the state average and above the national average.

The East Valley average remains below its AAA recorded high of $5.7000. Regular prices are about 71 cents lower than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.4100, drivers are paying about 45 cents more per gallon.

Diesel in the East Valley area averages $4.8630 per gallon, AAA reported.
