Queen Creek, Arizona — Gas prices in the East Valley area averaged $3.8540 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 6, 2026, according to AAA, down from $3.8600 yesterday. That is down from $3.9410 a week ago and lower than $4.5300 a month ago.
The statewide average in Arizona stands at $3.9350, while the national average is $3.7970. Drivers in the East Valley area are paying below the state average and above the national average.
The East Valley average remains below its AAA recorded high of $5.7000. Regular prices are about 68 cents lower than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.4040, drivers are paying about 45 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the East Valley area averages $4.8500 per gallon, AAA reported.
