Queen Creek, Arizona — Gas prices in the East Valley area averaged $3.8410 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 7, 2026, according to AAA, down from $3.8540 yesterday. That is down from $3.9120 a week ago and lower than $4.5240 a month ago.
The statewide average in Arizona stands at $3.9170, while the national average is $3.7900. Drivers in the East Valley area are paying below the state average and above the national average.
The East Valley average remains below its AAA recorded high of $5.7000. Regular prices are about 68 cents lower than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.4030, drivers are paying about 44 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the East Valley area averages $4.8350 per gallon, AAA reported.
