Queen Creek, Arizona — Gas prices in the East Valley area averaged $4.8683 per gallon for regular unleaded on October 5, 2026, according to AAA, down from $4.8714 yesterday. That is down from $4.9187 a week ago and higher than $4.6597 a month ago.
The statewide average in Arizona stands at $4.7470, while the national average is $4.3653. Drivers in the East Valley area are paying above the state average and above the national average.
The East Valley average remains below its AAA recorded high of $5.7000. Regular prices are about 21 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.8454, drivers are paying about 102 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the East Valley area averages $6.1632 per gallon, AAA reported.
