The statewide average in Arizona stands at $3.9140, while the national average is $3.8840. Drivers in the East Valley area are paying below the state average and below the national average.
The East Valley average remains below its AAA recorded high of $5.7000. Regular prices are about 64 cents lower than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.3860, drivers are paying about 43 cents more per gallon.
