Queen Creek, Arizona — Gas prices in the East Valley area averaged $4.2680 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 19, 2026, according to AAA, up from $4.2130 yesterday. That is up from $3.8290 a week ago but higher than $4.1940 a month ago.
The statewide average in Arizona stands at $4.2590, while the national average is $3.9980. Drivers in the East Valley area are paying above the state average and above the national average.
The East Valley average remains below its AAA recorded high of $5.7000. Regular prices are about 7 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.3530, drivers are paying about 91 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the East Valley area averages $5.2430 per gallon, AAA reported.
