Queen Creek, Arizona — Gas prices in the East Valley area averaged $4.4320 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 29, 2026, according to AAA, down from $4.4440 yesterday. That is up from $4.3070 a week ago but higher than $3.9410 a month ago.
The statewide average in Arizona stands at $4.4010, while the national average is $4.0910. Drivers in the East Valley area are paying above the state average and above the national average.
The East Valley average remains below its AAA recorded high of $5.7000. Regular prices are about 49 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.3290, drivers are paying about 110 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the East Valley area averages $5.4680 per gallon, AAA reported.
