Queen Creek, Arizona — Gas prices in the East Valley area averaged $4.6755 per gallon for regular unleaded on September 12, 2026, according to AAA, up from $4.6672 yesterday. That is up from $4.6597 a week ago but higher than $4.4401 a month ago.
The statewide average in Arizona stands at $4.5813, while the national average is $4.3104. Drivers in the East Valley area are paying above the state average and above the national average.
The East Valley average remains below its AAA recorded high of $5.7000. Regular prices are about 24 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.8595, drivers are paying about 82 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the East Valley area averages $6.1688 per gallon, AAA reported.
