Queen Creek, Arizona — Gas prices in the East Valley area averaged $4.9061 per gallon for regular unleaded on September 30, 2026, according to AAA, down from $4.9125 yesterday. That is up from $4.8754 a week ago but higher than $4.6813 a month ago.
The statewide average in Arizona stands at $4.7880, while the national average is $4.4343. Drivers in the East Valley area are paying above the state average and above the national average.
The East Valley average remains below its AAA recorded high of $5.7000. Regular prices are about 22 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.8641, drivers are paying about 104 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the East Valley area averages $6.2801 per gallon, AAA reported.
