Queen Creek, Arizona — Gas prices in the East Valley area averaged $4.8714 per gallon for regular unleaded on October 4, 2026, according to AAA, down from $4.8805 yesterday. That is down from $4.9347 a week ago and higher than $4.6602 a month ago.
The statewide average in Arizona stands at $4.7542, while the national average is $4.3697. Drivers in the East Valley area are paying above the state average and above the national average.
The East Valley average remains below its AAA recorded high of $5.7000. Regular prices are about 21 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.8464, drivers are paying about 103 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the East Valley area averages $6.1880 per gallon, AAA reported.
