For the first time in its history, the Queen Creek Heat Little League has qualified five softball teams for the Arizona Little League State Softball Tournaments. The advancement occurs this month, with each squad scheduled to begin play at different locations across the state.

League President Junior Garcia highlighted the achievement in a press release, attributing the success to the dedication of players, coaches, volunteers, and families. He stated that the organization is proud of the teams for earning the chance to compete at the state level and for demonstrating the talent and character that define the Queen Creek Heat.

The specific schedule for the advancing teams includes the following matchups:

The 8-10 Minors Division team will begin competition on July 6 in Avondale.

The Little League Softball Division, which covers the 10-12 Majors age group, also starts on July 6, but will play in Mesa.

The Junior League Softball Division and the Senior League Softball Division are both scheduled to start their state play on July 8. The Junior League team will compete in Tucson, while the Senior League team will play in Cottonwood.

The 9-11 Junior Majors Division team will start its tournament play later in the month on July 10 in Cottonwood.

In the press release, the league noted that the teams displayed determination, teamwork, and resilience throughout the season while facing top regional talent. The organization described the advancement as a sign of the continued growth of youth softball in Queen Creek and the strong backing of the local community.

Queen Creek Heat Little League Softball was established in 2006. It provides both beginner and competitive softball opportunities for youth throughout the East Valley region.

Details regarding the specific opponents or the outcomes of these upcoming state games are not yet clear.
