Queen Creek Olive Mill is set to host its 13th annual Garlic Festival on September 19-20 and September 26-27. The event takes place at the mill’s location on 25062 S. Meridian Road and focuses on four varieties of garlic cultivated on the property.
Attendees can purchase more than 11,000 heads of organically grown estate garlic. The festival also includes a garlic-inspired menu prepared by del Piero Kitchen and a vendor alley selling specialty items such as garlic olive oil growlers and garlic-stuffed olives.
Programming for the two weekends includes live cooking demonstrations led by mill owner Perry Rea. Olive Oil 101 classes are scheduled for Saturdays, and garlic-themed estate farm tours are available with tickets purchased at the marketplace counter. These tours and classes provide an opportunity for visitors to learn about the olive oil production process, which continues throughout the event.
Additional activities designed for families include live music, raffles, games, and wine and beer tastings. Sunset sangria flights and exclusive event merchandise are also part of the offerings. The festival serves as a September tradition for the agritourism business, allowing it to highlight its garlic crop alongside its primary olive and olive oil products.
