Country Thunder Arizona has begun teasing the first headliner for its 2027 festival with billboards across metro Phoenix. The displays feature white cowboy boots marked with pink stars on a bright pink background and remind viewers that the festival is scheduled for April 8-11 in Florence.
The billboards appeared at several locations at 6:45 a.m. Sept. 21. The artist has not been publicly identified, but the festival describes the performer as a multi-platinum superstar whose newest release reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
Country Thunder’s website and social media accounts have also adopted the pink design. The changes invite fans to use the boot image and other clues to guess which performer will appear at the festival.
Megan Benoit, the festival’s digital manager, said the advance hints were intended to involve fans in the buildup to the lineup announcement. She said supporters often share theories and speculate about which artists could be booked.
