Queen Creek law enforcement concluded a standoff with an arrest on Friday evening after serving a search warrant at a residence near Ocotillo Road and Ellsworth Road.
Officers arrived at the home around 4:20 p.m. on Sept. 18 to execute the warrant. The situation escalated when police deployed a K-9 unit, which engaged the subject in the doorway while SWAT members held position nearby. The individual closed the door, prompting officers to release tear gas into the structure.
The man surrendered and was placed in handcuffs shortly after 8 p.m., ending the barricade. Authorities confirmed that no shots were fired during the incident.
