The Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce plans to hold its 2026 Business & Education Summit on Aug. 27, bringing together business leaders, educators and students for discussions about workforce needs.
The summit is scheduled to begin at 7:30 a.m. at Arizona State University’s Polytechnic Campus, 5999 S. Backus Mall in Mesa. The event will center on roundtable talks about workforce challenges, available opportunities and possible solutions.
Topics listed for discussion include issues currently affecting local employers, ways schools and industry can better work together, skills businesses are seeking in workers, and options for improving the path from classrooms to careers.
The chamber also plans to share information about its workforce programs, including Queen Creek Works and Elevate for Tomorrow, its annual workforce-readiness event for area high school juniors.
