Arizona will open and close its 2026-27 Big 12 regular season away from home, beginning Jan. 2 at Iowa State in Ames and ending March 6 at Houston. The Wildcats enter the season after winning the conference’s regular-season and tournament titles and reaching the Final Four in the previous season.

The trip to Iowa State will be Arizona’s first game in conference play. The Wildcats have not won at Hilton Coliseum, one of four Big 12 arenas where they remain without a victory, while also carrying a streak of no conference-opening loss since 2020 at Stanford.

Houston, meanwhile, will host Arizona in the regular-season finale after Arizona defeated the Cougars in last season’s closing game, a result that gave the Wildcats a 16-2 conference record and the outright league championship.

Arizona’s first Big 12 home game is scheduled for Jan. 6 against UCF. The Wildcats will host Colorado on March 3 for their final home game, which will include senior night activities. Other notable home opponents listed on the schedule are BYU on Jan. 12, Arizona State on Jan. 16, Houston on Feb. 6, Kansas on Feb. 20 and Baylor on Feb. 27.

UConn is also scheduled to visit McKale Center on Nov. 18. Arizona will face Arkansas in Phoenix on Dec. 19. The schedule includes games on every day of the week other than Thursday and Saturday, with two Big Monday matchups: TCU at home on Feb. 8 and a road game at BYU on Feb. 22.

Arizona will also visit Texas Tech in Lubbock on Jan. 22 for a Friday night game.

The Wildcats’ consecutive road-game stretches include a trip to West Virginia on Jan. 30 followed by a game at Cincinnati on Feb. 2. Another back-to-back road sequence sends Arizona to Arizona State on Feb. 13 and Oklahoma State on Feb. 16.

Arizona’s season begins Sept. 26 with the annual Red-Blue Showcase. Three home exhibition games are set for Oct. 13 against San Francisco, Oct. 16 against San Diego State and Oct. 23 against Eastern Washington. The schedule was reported by si.com.
