The Arizona Cardinals are actively finalizing their roster in preparation for the 2026 regular season. Following the announcement of their initial 53-man roster on Sunday, the team began filling out their practice squad on Monday.

As of now, the Cardinals have not claimed any players off waivers but have filled all but three spots on their practice squad.

The current list includes linebacker Eugene Asante, tight end Shawn Bowman, defensive lineman Cam Horsley, running back Evan Hull, offensive lineman Demontrey Jacobs, cornerback Kalen King, offensive lineman Matt Pryor, tight end Teagan Quitoriano, linebacker Cameron Robertson, wide receiver Ihmir Smith-Marsette, cornerback Starling Thomas V, wide receiver Harrison Wallace III, defensive lineman Damonic Williams, and offensive lineman Valentin Senn from the international pathway program.

The NFL allows teams to have up to 16 players on their practice squad, with a potential 17th player from the international pathway program. At least ten players must be rookies or in their second year, while the remaining six can have any level of experience. The Cardinals may still fill their remaining three spots with players released by other teams.

Notably, cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting, who was among the prominent cuts, has signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after clearing waivers. His departure is significant, given that only five cornerbacks made the Cardinals' initial roster. Additionally, offensive tackle Matt Pryor, who was cut, is returning to the practice squad, providing the team with veteran experience.

Former Cardinals linebacker Owen Pappoe has been claimed by the Tennessee Titans after he did not make the Cardinals' roster, indicating the team's confidence in their current lineup.

The Cardinals did not claim any players from the waiver wire, which may suggest either a lack of appealing options or confidence in their existing roster. The team's initial 53-man roster includes quarterbacks Jacoby Brissett, Gardner Minshew, and Carson Beck, among others, as they gear up for the season ahead.
