Queen Creek, Arizona — Gas prices in the East Valley area averaged $4.1300 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 17, 2026, according to AAA, up from $4.0880 yesterday. That is up from $3.8200 a week ago but lower than $4.2860 a month ago.
The statewide average in Arizona stands at $4.1600, while the national average is $3.9810. Drivers in the East Valley area are paying below the state average and above the national average.
The East Valley average remains below its AAA recorded high of $5.7000. Regular prices are about 16 cents lower than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.3560, drivers are paying about 77 cents more per gallon.
