Queen Creek, Arizona — Gas prices in the East Valley area averaged $4.2130 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 18, 2026, according to AAA, up from $4.1300 yesterday. That is up from $3.8370 a week ago but lower than $4.2340 a month ago.
The statewide average in Arizona stands at $4.2170, while the national average is $3.9920. Drivers in the East Valley area are paying below the state average and above the national average.
The East Valley average remains below its AAA recorded high of $5.7000. Regular prices are about 2 cents lower than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.3550, drivers are paying about 86 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the East Valley area averages $5.2150 per gallon, AAA reported.
