Council Action

The Queen Creek Town Council will consider Resolution 1679-26 during its regular session on Sept. 16, 2026.

The resolution declares a need, necessity, and public purpose for the proposed action.

Approval would direct the Town Manager, Town Attorney, and Town Clerk to execute all necessary documents and actions.

Property Acquisition Details

Officials are authorized to acquire interests in real or personal property located along Rittenhouse Road and Cloud Road.

The targeted parcels fall within Section 25, Township 2 South Range 7 East, as listed on Maricopa County Assessor Exhibit A.

The acquisition would proceed through a gift or purchase from the respective owners.

Project Funding and Scope

The acquired property would support roadway improvements for the Rittenhouse Road alignment project from 213th Street to Riggs Road.

This initiative is designated as CIP Project A0306.

The resolution also authorizes necessary budget adjustments and funding transfers to support the effort.
