Queen Creek, Arizona — Gas prices in the East Valley area averaged $4.3100 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 23, 2026, according to AAA, up from $4.3070 yesterday. That is up from $4.0880 a week ago but higher than $4.0760 a month ago.

The statewide average in Arizona stands at $4.3050, while the national average is $4.0910. Drivers in the East Valley area are paying above the state average and above the national average.

The East Valley average remains below its AAA recorded high of $5.7000. Regular prices are about 23 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.3400, drivers are paying about 97 cents more per gallon.

Diesel in the East Valley area averages $5.2880 per gallon, AAA reported.
