Queen Creek, Arizona — Gas prices in the East Valley area averaged $4.7653 per gallon for regular unleaded on September 20, 2026, according to AAA, up from $4.7652 yesterday. That is up from $4.6794 a week ago but higher than $4.5463 a month ago.
The statewide average in Arizona stands at $4.6659, while the national average is $4.4761. Drivers in the East Valley area are paying above the state average and above the national average.
The East Valley average remains below its AAA recorded high of $5.7000. Regular prices are about 22 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $3.9029, drivers are paying about 86 cents more per gallon.
Diesel in the East Valley area averages $6.4200 per gallon, AAA reported.
