Walmart Announces 18 Arizona Store Renovations for 2026

The retail giant has confirmed renovation plans for 18 locations across Arizona, including a store in Queen Creek.

Walmart has outlined plans to renovate 18 of its Arizona locations during 2026. The company released a list of the specific stores scheduled for updates, which span multiple cities across the state.

In the Phoenix metropolitan area, several locations are included in the renovation schedule. The Maricopa store at 41650 W. Maricopa Casa-Grande Highway is set for work. In Mesa, renovations will affect two sites: one at 1606 S. Signal Butte Road and another at 857 N. Dobson Road. The Chandler location at 2750 E. Germann Road is also on the list.

Phoenix itself will see updates at five different addresses. These include 2501 W. Happy Valley Road, 1825 W. Bell Road, 6550 W. Happy Valley Road, 2020 N. 75th Ave, and 9600 N. Metro Parkway. Additionally, the Tempe store at 1380 W. Elliot Road and the Glendale location at 5137 W. Olive Ave. are part of the plan.

Outside the immediate Phoenix area, the Queen Creek Walmart at 1725 W. Hunt Highway will undergo remodeling. Other affected communities include Douglas, with a store at 199 W. Fifth Street; Fort Mohave at 5210 S. State Route 95; Parker at 100 W. Riverside Dr.; and Payson at 300 N. Beeline Highway.

Further south and east, the Safford location at 755 S. 20th Ave. and the Sierra Vista store at 500 N. Highway 90 Bypass are also scheduled for renovations. The full list of addresses was provided by the company as part of the announcement.
