Kenny Dillingham, head coach of Arizona State football, has opted to stay with the program, turning down offers from Michigan and earning a long-term contract extension. After a challenging 2025 season marred by injuries, the Sun Devils finished with eight wins, following a historic run to the College Football Playoff the previous year.
Despite losing key players like quarterback Sam Leavitt and wide receiver Jordyn Tyson, who was selected eighth overall by the New Orleans Saints, Arizona State has bolstered its roster through the transfer portal.
Dillingham secured one of the nation's top transfer classes, adding players such as Omarion Miller, Reed Harris, and Raiden Vines-Bright, who collectively bring over 2,600 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns to the team.
On the defensive side, the Sun Devils acquired C.J. Fite, a standout defensive tackle, and linebacker Owen Long, who led the nation in tackles last season with 151. However, the departure of Leavitt has raised questions about the quarterback position.
Arizona State has brought in transfers Cutter Boley from Kentucky and Mikey Keene from Fresno State to fill this gap, with both having notable performances in their previous seasons.
